Intel has released its first Ivy Bridge-based Core i3 processors. Apart from a regular model, a special ultra-low voltage (ULV) version was also launched. The new processors do not mean that the Sandy Bridge platform has been discontinued altogether though. Intel has plans to launch two more Sandy Bridge chips, namely the Core i3-2308M and i3-2365M.
