RIM, the manufacturer behind the BlackBerry devices, has announced a 4G version of its BlackBerry Playbook. Lately, the manufacturer has seen a drop in sales, a large “ping” network malfunction, and trouble with the development of its new operating system. This has caused RIM to cut almost 6000 jobs, roughly 36.4% of its entire staff.
